How we help

Start with a good thought :)

Support Groups

1. Age-based support groups:

These support groups will allow you to meet peers of the same or similar age as you.            There you will be able to talk freely about your experiences and feel comfortable to open    up and these meetings will take place on Saturdays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at 11:00.

2. Abuse-based support groups:

You get to choose which group you want to join depending on which makes you feel            most welcomed so that you’re able to share your feelings. You can meet up on                        Sundays, Wednesday and/or Fridays at 11:00.

Online Chatrooms

These sessions are similar to the support groups except instead of face to face they will take place online because we understand that some of you express yourselves better through writting, or in this case, typing. These chatrooms will be monitored by an adult to ensure that no bullying is taking place or in case you have any questions. You are also free to join the support groups anytime.

1. Age-based chatroom:

You will be able to join the appropriate chatroom as they will be titled with the age range      and from there you can start a conversation with your peers and talk about your                    experiences. The chatroom will be made active on Saturdays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays    as from 16:00.

2. Abuse-based chatroom

These chatrooms will be labelled with the different types of abuse and you are free to            access the one which corresponds the best to your situation. However, you are allowed        to participate in more than one forum if it enables you to open up. You can log into the          room as from 16:00 on Sundays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays.

Helpline

Our helpline 1007 will be available 24/7 and you will be able to talk to either a social worker if you need immediate help or a licensed therapist to ask for advice or voice your thoughts and feelings.

Therapy Sessions

Therapy sessions will be provided and to you can book an appointment. Our therapists will be there to guide, listen to and give you solutions as well as sort out your feelings. This will help you to feel lighter, refreshed, healed and will give you an idea of what your next step in life should be.

Activities

As much as expressing yourself is important to avoid bottling your feelings up, carrying out fun activities also allow you to let go of your worries and improve your mood. Hence, at LBYE, we organise all sorts of games, activities and events on Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays. The games consist of board games, puzzles, treasure hunts, online gaming sessions, hide and seek. Our events include picnics and hiking trips. Lastly, we have activities such as painting, drawing, dancing, singing, talent shows, story-telling and some sports. Suggestions are also welcome!
